Upgrading hp 6353 to a PIII 550

I have a Hp 6353 computer. I want to put a pIII 550mhz cpu in it but i cant find any info on how to do the jumper cables and update my bios? Anyone have links or info? Anything will be appreciated.

You will need to know first of all if your computer can handle a p3... you need to take into account what bus speed your mb can support and what cpu bus seed your processor is running at...

My bus speed is 100 mhz, and from what I read that should handle pIII up to 600mhz because of them being 2v. I looked at my processor in the computer now. It doesn't look like there is any jumpers to configure? Can I just pop the PIII 550 chip in and will it just auto configure or detect?
