A Forums Advanced Search using "ftp and netrc" returned many hits for me.
In the event that the internal search doesn't work (which has been known to happen before), use Google. For example:
ftp and netrc site:itrc.hp.com

What recent changes? The addition of forums13?
Right now, I tried looking up a recent (Nov 12) reply I made and couldn't find it, so I had to use google.
And somehow google finds two more but the URL says bizsupport even if they aren't in the BSP. Adding the BSP forums to the advanced forums search doesn't find them.

Me too facing the same issue. Not able to search any existing threats using search option.
Anybody knows the reason for that? or any workaround?

Hmm, I can't even find this one. But I found one in Oct. There maybe a cutoff time between then and now?

It's broken again? :-)
As JRF mentioned, google is your friend.

As Dennis hinted, the question may be can you find anything or can you find only threads more than a few days old?
I'm not sure how often indexing occurs. A casual set of trials showed me that I could find threads of November 11 (today being the 14th) but nothing after the 11th.
I generally ignore the Forum search engine and go to Google.

This is strange. I just used the Forums advanced search; used the string "mirror root disk" and the all-words option and was returned 50 items, the most recent dated 09/17/2008. I opened a new ITRC session and didn't login either when I did this.
I think this is worth continuing to document and complain about until we determine why we don't get reproducible behavior.
