Forum Search Capability Lacking

Is it me, or is the search feature for this forum a bit lacking. Every time I try to do a search using the advanced search option I have to select more options then server mgmt (Insight Manager 7) etc...

My suggestion would be for the search to default to the forum you are in, since sometimes searching across all forums you get results that are out of context.

Your thoughts?

Re: Forum Search Capability Lacking

Google does a pretty good job of indexing the forums. Try using "site:forums1.itrc.hp.com" and as many search terms as you can think of to narrow it down. The trick is when you think you've found something, use the Cached Page link--sometimes the result is a hit on an index page and those change dynamically. The cached view will let you still get to the message.
