I wanted to access to a HP site today:
Now I'm asked for a login to a kiosk (which wasn't before).
But: HOW MANY LOGINS DO WE NEED FOR HP SITES???
I have already:
- one for ITRC
- one for business support forum
- one for HP designjet online
How many logins and passwords will we need and store anywhere to get access???

As I mentioned in cz I have this question raised with SW Depot, HP Passport & Designjet Online.
I will keep you posted,
ps you'll be amazed to hear that it's *93* in Dublin :-)

Designjet Online now uses HP Passport. So that's one less :-) I'm still working on the SW Kiosk login. Haven't had much time in HP lately,

how do I create a kiosk login account?
I can't access a software download page using my HP passport account without it prompting for the kiosk login:

>how do I create a kiosk login account?
Have you looked at the FAQ and links on the top left?

I've checked the FAQ's and it doesn't give you any information on how to setup a kiosk login. It's almost as if HP don't want us to update our servers. It used to be simple. Go to support and drivers. Download latest Proliant Support Pack and install.
Now it's login with your HP Passport. Attempt to login to the kiosk with the same details and fail. Scratch head and look blank when there's no link to setup Kiosk user. Do not update server because it's too hard. Wonder why HP wants to be Dell and go onto something productive.
Seriously, how stupid is this situation? Multiple logins required to do a frimware update? Someone put the wrong person in charge.

I'm with you - all I want to do is download the HP SPP for Server 2012 and HP has decided to make me just through MORE hoops and establish yet another freaking HP account to access some other obfuscated part of their website.
COME ON HP - this is fscking ridiculous - I have HP Passport, ITRC, Learning Portal and Partner Portal accounts already and STILL I cannot download a product to install the drivers under the current Microsoft Server OS. Why do you try and make this so frustrating, time consuming and difficult for your clients - it is like you want us to move to other vendors...

>I've checked the FAQs and it doesn't give you any information on how to setup a kiosk login.
Right, google only finds the pages but no description. Did you also provide feedback about this?
>It's almost as if HP don't want us to update our servers.
If you have a support contract, you might want to complain there too.
>I have HP Passport, ITRC,
The ITRC is dead, perhaps you meant HPSC?

Please report to HP webmasters.
Kiosk login could be an error.
We need HP SPP 2012.10 ASAP.

Note that SW Depot is experiencing a problem with downloads of the most recent SPP with an error message referring you to login to a kiosk. This post addresses that issue which is being fixed. The SPP should be available for download by end of today, 10/29/2012.
The error message & referal to a kiosk will no longer be displayed once SPP v2012.10.0 becomes available on SW Depot.
