I just received a z210 equipped with a 250GB drive.
I want to install a 120GB SSD drive, as the boot drive.
I installed the SSD drive, connected it to SATA port 0, inserted the RESTORE DVD,
and booted to the system recovery program.
I made the selections to restore the drive to factory specs, and upon execution
I receive a message indicating that the system restore program cannot restore
onto a drive that is smaller than what the workstation was shipped with.
Any ideas how I can restore onto this smaller SSD drive?
(I performed these same steps on an Elitebook 8760w and everything worked fine)

I do have the same issue here.
My setup is slightly different, with a dc6200 Pro Desktop (SFF).
Shipped with 250GB drive and wanted to replace with an Intel SSD 120GB (520 Series).
Same error message when starting recovery with the DVDs.
Did you find a solution to this problem yet?

Unfortunately the minimum size of the drive is 128 GB for the restore cd of this system. I have provided the feedback to consider this in the future design.
