Re: Video Card for Compaq D510 CMT Evo

The Evo d510 CMT supports 4x AGP so that card should be fine if it fits. I would suggest you look inside the computer and verify how long the card can be without interference from other parts of the computer. Some of the 6800 cards are long.

Re: Video Card for Compaq D510 CMT Evo

Another highly-regarded 4X AGP card with dual-head DVI outputs is the NVIDIA Quadro4 900 XGL. They're as common as dirt and just as inexpensive on eBay.

I don't know about the other card you suggested, but I *highly recommend* dual-head DVI graphics and two matching LCD displays with DVI inputs.

Dennis,

That NVIDIA Quadro4 900 XGL is only 128mb,? it's ok for 3DMax, what about games.?
