I am trying to install W2K Pro on an xw4300 workstation but can not get the SATA drivers to work.
I first tried a floppy disk with the files from Adpahci.1.0.414.0-3842-Windows2000_2003.i686.zip and used F6 to select the "Adaptec SATA HostRAID" driver which loaded ok but when it coninued the Windows 2000 setup it gave the error "setup did not find any hard disks installed on your computer"!
I then tried the HPEmbedded_SATA_RAID_Controller_Driver_for_Windows
Is there something else I need to do or am I using the wrong drivers I don't know how to find out which I need?

I solved the problem without requiring any extra drivers.
The solution was to change the BIOS Storage setting for "SATA Emulation" from AHCI to separate IDE interface. After that the W2K setup worked perfectly.
