HP Workstation Z400 setting memory timings and voltage

Hi,

How can I change memory timings or memory voltage? There are no such choices in BIOS. CPU-Z shows that my timing parametres are now set to 7-7-7 but in DIMM datasheet it shows that parametres should be set to 9-9-9. Also memory voltage is bit low, now set to 1.28V, but it should be 1.35V.

Re: HP Workstation Z400 setting memory timings and voltage

The system does not require to change the memory timings or memory voltage. Do you have any problem to use the memory modules? If yes, please call HP Support. I do not recommend to change any memory timings or memory voltage.  This change may avoid the warranty and generate other problem.

Re: HP Workstation Z400 setting memory timings and voltage

I want to change timings and voltage because my memory runs only at 1066Mhz at the moment. They should run at 1333Mhz at least.

What processor model are you using?  Some CPUs only support 1066 memory.

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
