t5570e - disable RDP client from saving credentials

Hi there,

We're currently looking to deploy HP t5570e Thin Clients for a customer who logs into an terminal environment using the RDP client. I believe this Thin Client has RDP 7.1 installed.

Having one problem though.. as we have multiple users using the Thin Client, sometimes, upon logon, a user may specify to 'Remember my Credentials'. If this is ticked, when you next click on the RDP icon it will login automatically under the last user that ticked 'Remember my Credentials'

Is there anyway to completely disable this option? - 'Allow me to save my credentials' is unticked in the RDP settings and I've commited the change, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Thank you.

Re: t5570e - disable RDP client from saving credentials

Only way I've been able to get around this is to disable user security, login back in as 'user' and manually remove the saved credentials from the RDP client settings.

You can configure your server to always require credentials, regardless if the clients have saved them.
