Unknown database error, please check your database then reinstall HP Device Manager

I'm trying to install HPDM on the server of one of our clients. I've tried 2 different 2003 R2 SP2 servers and on both servers i get the following error when using the builtin PostgreSQL or our own MSSQL server:

Unknown database error, please check your database then reinstall HP Device Manager

Please advice...

Re: Unknown database error, please check your database then reinstall HP Device Manager

look at "C:\Program Files\HP\HP Device Manager\Server\logs\hpdm-dbsetup.log" for details on the error.

Re: Unknown database error, please check your database then reinstall HP Device Manager

I suffered the same problem. Finaly I found the key:

Database: hpdmbd

Server: NAMESERVER\SQLSERVERVC

User: your_domain\Administrator

Password: administrator_password

This works for me.

NAMESERVER is server where SQL Server is located.
