ThinPro 4.3 Connect to XenDesktop 7

Hello

I want to upgrade our Citrix Server Farm to XenDesktop 7 and installed a Lab Environment.

Everything works fine so far, but my ThinClients...

We use t510 and t610 with ThinPro 4.3 and all installed Updates available from the Easy Update.

So the icaclient-term is 12.1.6.231670-1

the first problem is, that the Client doesnt accept the selfsigned certificate. Even if I install it manually via the Certificate tool. But it has no problems with the selfsigned Certificate of the 6.5 Controler...

When I change to http, It says there are no published Apps on the DC.

I thought, it may be because it cant find the PNAgent/Config.xml on its own, and entered the full url, but that doesnt change  a bit

Anyone else experiencing these issues ?

Benjamin

Re: ThinPro 4.3 Connect to XenDesktop 7

Hi

I had to install my own Certificate Authorioty, install the Root-Certificate on the Clients.

Then you need to create a Server Certificate for the Controler from the CA and install it on the controler.

Then the Clients do acceppt the cert.

Still, thats a **bleep**ed up process, as you need to install the root Cert on every single Client manually, because there is no proper way to publish it, as far as I know.

Have you tried contacting the HPSC?

[ Edited ]

Actually I got someone from Support to take care.

Props to the Support that got the problem pinned down straight forward

I think I should have phoned them a bit sooner :) My Bad

Soloution (for me) is somehow simple:

Login as Administrator and open a console.

# fsunlock
# mv /usr/bin/pnabrowse /usr/bin/hpnabrowse
# fslock '

Leaves me one problem: How to get that to all of my Clients ...

Re: ThinPro 4.3 Connect to XenDesktop 7

Hp released the "new" citrix receiver version 13. This client supports the storefront connection.

Re: ThinPro 4.3 Connect to XenDesktop 7

Does anyone have anyone instructions on how to connect to XenDesktop 7.5 environment from a T610 on 4.3 using ICA client 13?

Receiver 13 is naturally supporting connection to Xendesktop7.5. Any problem do you have when you try to connect to ?
