T5740 Seven Standard French

Hello,

Today i would like to have my Windows Embedded 7 Standard in french. So i download the tool on the hp website. With the tool download here : Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard 7 Image for HP Thin Client i create a usb bootable key. I put on the usb key on my thin client.

When the download end, i press S and put off the usb key. I reboot my thin client but they don't start they stay at Windows start screen. Like blocked.

Did someone help me? I don't update the hp agent before is it a solution ?

Re: T5740 Seven Standard French

What is the configuration of this t5740?

Like DOM size, does it attached with extra SATA module, does it have special BIOS settings, etc.

Please make sure you're running the latest BIOS (currently 1.04) - http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12...

Re: T5740 Seven Standard French

The t5740 is not licensed to run WES 7, only XPe and WES 2009. You would need a t5740e model to run WES 7.

Re: T5740 Seven Standard French

I'm not sure what you mean by "for see the ip adress mac etc and i have 10 ligne like i have 10 network card". Are you saying you see 10 different\unique Network interfaces\MACs ?

How many do you see when issuing a ipconfig /all command from a cmd prompt?

Re: T5740 Seven Standard French

You need to create a custom WMI call to poll the IP address correctly.

Follow this guide from Technet.
