How do I stop autoconnect on t5735?

I think I've configured more of a "deadlock" on a t5735 running Debian, which I'm not particulary familiar with. I've configured the box to autostart with a ordinary user account, which in turn automatically logon to a Citrix session using full screen. And when the Citrix-session is ended, the t5735 is configured to shut down. But now the user wants a different screen resolution... How can I end the Citrix session without shutdown the t5735? Or how do I start without autostart the Citrix-client? Or how can I reach the desktop of t5735 when the Citrix session is running? I somehow have to be able to logon as root to perform the changes... Are there any keys in Debian which acts like "Shift" in Windows to stop auto-running of clients?

Unplug the network cable... works on most all models.  Try the simplest things first.
