I have purchased HP Thin Client T5740. Its window got corrupted so i re-installed the windows using the media available on HP web-site
After re-install its working fine except when i open the Control Panel and open HP RAMDISK MANAGER it shows that maximum amount of RAM that can be selected is 96MB. Whereas in new Thin Client the maximum amount of RAM that can be selected is 1024MB. Tell me how can i maximize the RAM size in HP RAMDISK MANAGER to 1024MB.
Thankyou for your consideration

1. It is not recommend by MS to extend the RAM drive above 96MB..
2. What is the reason why yo want to do this? It will hrt yor system performance becase yo taking memory away from the OS.

well i thought its a bug in my newly installed system that max amount of memory that can be allocated is 96mb.
one of our collegue told me to keep that to 300mb it will give good performance.
can you please tell me how does HP RAMDISK MANAGER effects the performance of system.
I will be greatfull if u can give me an idea. thanks

The driver has been updated in recent images to support a larger size. If the control panel applet in your image does not support sizes larger than 96MB, it is because that driver\image\platform experiences inconsistent behavior with a ramdisk size >96MB. You may need a newer platform/image to take advantage of the newer ramdisk driver.

If the HP's tool does not allow larger settings you can change the size via the registry. JUST BE CAREFUL! Otherwise may need to reimiage thin client.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\servi
"DiskSize"=dword:20000000 <- my setting for 512MB on a HP t5740
