HP Connection Manager - default RDP user...

Hi, Somehow I have set up a rdp connection  in connection manager and when you connect to the rds farm there are 2 icons "testuser" and other user.

"testuser" is an account I used whilst testing the conenction , how do i remove it from the selection , so that just a login prompt is showing?

Where in the interface are you seeing this "user name" ? In the Windows welcome screen?

What steps did you take to create the user that you are trying to delete?

Is this a Windows User account that you created in a Windows Admin Session?

Taking a guess here, to get rid of a Windows User account, you have to login to the Windows system as an Admin and use any number of methods available in Windows to delete the User account.

I suggest googling: Windows Delete User Account

If all you want is a Login Prompt dialog, then you may have to use Group Policies to change how users login to the system.

Again, I suggest googling: Windows Group Policy Login

Hope that helps.

Re: HP Connection Manager - default RDP user...

These are the icons when the RDP connection is run up. You have "testuser" or other user icons. ot the logon prompt to the thin client
