Firefox Language on T510 ThinPro

Hi community,

I updated a T510 Thinpro to the latest version. I change the locales to German as needed. But Firefox is still in English. The language addons are deactivated. I did not find a way to change the locale yet.

Because Firefox seems to be version 8.0 I tried to install a de.xpi manually. This worked more or less good. The additional locale addon is deactivated again on startup.

Does anyone have an idea to force Firefox to use the selected language? Thanks in advance

Re: Firefox Language on T510 ThinPro

You need to commit the changes to ThinPro.
before changing the language in Firefox to German you need to open a xterm window and use the fsunlock command and after changing the language the fslock command.

Re: Firefox Language on T510 ThinPro

Thank you for your answer.

I did unlock the filesystem. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to install an xpi, I guess. But why are the delivered language addons incompatible with firefox? Is there a way to fix that?
