Re: Loading problem of HP-UX 10.20 in b2600 from CD

Hi,

it's because of HP and HP-UX.
Normally it's the best to use a HP drive which exists at the date when the b2600 came to market.
Nobody (neither the manufacturer nor HP) will offer new drivers for HP-UX 10.20 and any new drive.
So only such drives will work which are as similar as possible to older drives.

Here's a link for cd drives and unix to give you a feeling of the problem:
http://cdrecord.berlios.de/old/private/cdwriters-2.0.html

So you have to search old drives or test and test till you'll find a working one.
