3rd DLink Nic can't load driver

[ Edited ]

I am running Windows NT4 on a HP Visualize workstation with 2 Nic already. One is the onboard Intel and the Second one is DLink 530. Both are working fine and I can see them in top tools as well.

I will need to place the workstation on another subnet, thus require a 3rd Nic card. I have installed a DLink 538tx. It appear on the adapter windows under Network, but can't bind it. I cannot see it under top tools and the device file (dlkrts.sys) is not listed under device (while dlkpci.sys is listed, which is for 530).

I am wondering if why dlkrts.sys is not loaded? Is this a hardware limitation? or something to do with the driver? Any idea how can I fix this?

Thanks,
Bosco.
