Re: can any one help me to choose a graphic card

You have to buy a PCI graphics card.

The 64Mb *PCI* Pine Excalubur GeForce 2 Mx400 + TV Out from here is a decent choice:

If you like to use a particular retailer then any PCI card with an Nvidia or ATI chipset will be fine. As a general rule avoid any card which are bottom of the Geforce ranges (Eg Geforce 2MX 200) and only buy Radeon models (If buying ATI).

Re: can any one help me to choose a graphic card

Check some manufacturer websites
eg ASUS, MATROX, RADEON

If you never make a mistake you'll never make anything.

Re: can any one help me to choose a graphic card

Your system uses the Via KT 133 chipset. You should have a look at the motherboard if you have an AGP slot (brown).
Your video card should be in the slot (Nvidia TNT2TM 64
32MB dedicated video memory) according to HP's information on the site. It depends on the vendor of the motherboard (probably Asus)and if you have an AGP slot you don't have to buy a pci card. PCI cards are "older" and often less performant than the AGP cards.
For ATI solutions have a look at http://www.ati.com/products/builtdesktoppc.html .
You can analyze your current system at http://www.geforce.com/view.asp?PAGE=entertainment

Re: can any one help me to choose a graphic card

how can you know what kind of slot do you have (AGP or PCI) if you don't want to open up your computer?
