OMG HELP MY FAN IS DYING (2)

hmm.. i accidentally said it solved my problem but it didnt, i still dont know what kind of fan to get... i found this one that looks like it will work quite well, please verify that it will work with my hp pavilion 8756c..

Just measure the fan diameter. They come in standard sizes, and are generally fairly cheap. Most of your local electronics suppliers or hole-in-the-wall computer shops will carry them.

Even if you don't get one with the right connectors, it is trivial to strip the wires of the fan cable you already have, and join them to the wires of your new fan.

Lastly, if the fan is part of your PC's power supply, then you can normally get by for a while using a desk fan blowing against the opened chassis.
