BIOS Utilities

I am trying to use the BIOS utilities to replicate BIOS settings to my desktops. The readme says to generate the cpqsetup.txt file by saving the current BIOS config to a floppy. The problem is when I try to save the config to floppy, it renders the floppy unreadable in Windows. I've done this twice on two different models.

Is there another method to get the cpqsetup.txt?

Re: BIOS Utilities

Were you using a plain vanilla 1.44MB floppy? BIOS Setup assumes a standard FAT12 floppy. Formatting the floppy first (from Windows) might help.

Otherwise, you can download repset for your system. This allows you to save/restore your settings from DOS.
