Laserjet 1320 spool problem

We are running Windows XP with a Laserjet 1320. When sending a job to the printer, regardless of software (Word, Excel, Email, etc) the print job spools but will not print. We have tried installing a new driver, uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer, and rebooting the computer. When we reboot the computer the spooled jobs print but then when you send a new job it spools but won't print. Basically the only way to get the print job out of the buffer is to reboot the computer. Since this is not the desired method of printing, what can be done to remedy this problem? Thanks in advance.

Good Luck.

Re: Laserjet 1320 spool problem

Don:

Several new drivers have been released in the last month (some last week). Have you tried any of them? Please follow the installation steps meticulously. See:
