Conexant HDAUDIO MCP67 driver for XP (HP Pavilion dv2610us)

I just recently downgragded from Vista to XP Professional, and I've gotten almost all of my devices working, except for the sound card and QuickLaunch buttons. I've installed the UAA as well as all of the chipset drivers, etc. I've tried several download links throughout this site and others for the driver's and get errors such as:
"Driver Installation Failed: Could not find the MEDIA device for this driver."

Here is the device info as reported under device manager and PC WIzard 2008:
Device Audio: MCP67 High Definition Audio
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_14F1&DEV_5045&SUBSYS_103C30D6&REV_1001\4&C3AE3CA&0&0001

Any help is greatly apperciated

Try...ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp34001-34500/sp34386.exe

If Conexant installer gives the common error.....force install the conexant sound drivers.

Device Manager>Audio device on High Def Bus

Right click, Update Driver

Say "no, not at this time" for connecting to Windows Update

Select> Install from a list or specific location

Select> Don't search I will choose the driver to install

In the list of common hardware types, choose "show all"

Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk"

Next...browse to C:\Swsetup\sp34386

Choose the "inf" and ignore any protest from XP

Reboot.

OR....Conexant SmartAudio 221:

http://www.mediafire.com/?dg0cmmkm4y4

Unzip to a folder...use Device Manager.

From Device Manager, right click "Audio Device on High Def Bus",choose Update driver,

No to connect,

Install from a list or specific location,

Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,

For the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices'

Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk".

Next...browse to the unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".

Ignore XP when it complains.
Reboot.
