I have HP 470 laptop with preinstaled Win 8. I upgraded it to Win 8.1. Now i have noticed that i cannot use AutoCad on 8.1 windows so i want to format my computer so i will have a fresh install of Win 8. For that i need Win 8 software and key (i guess). Can you help me get software and a key ?

See if making your own plain W8 OEM installation media works.
The W8 product key encrypted in the PCs BIOS should automatically populate the installation and activate.
Link to the W8 x64 ISO file...
After you download the file, use this tool to make the file bootable onto a 4 GB USB flash drive or a DVD.
The tool works for W8 too.

Yes, I am getting that error now as well.
I guess you can try later on or tomorrow like the message says.
It used to work because I have used it myself and gave the link to lots of other folks too.

I think you're right.
It shouldn't be dead this long.
Well, if you can get your hands on an OEM installation disk you won't need the key because it is encrypted in the BIOS.
I can't upload my W8 OEM ISO file to my Skydrive folder because it exceeds the single file limit unfortunately.
So, call HP for the country you live in at the link below and order a set of W8 recovery media. Call the number listed for business desktops/notebooks.
You will need to provide the model number and serial number of your notebook to the customer services rep.
