Laserjet 2035n printing excessive copies

I have recently gone to
Windows 7. Printing in ms office pro 2007 causes excessive number of copies to be printed. I have downloaded drivers and removed and reinstalled them. Same problem. I can print a test page satisfactorily.
But nothing else. Any suggestion besides buying a new printer?

I have the same problem.
I am printing to an HP 2035n (networked) printer from a Windows 7 computer.
I'm fairly confident that the same problem is present in other computers on my network, because my wife has been complaining about the same issue with her Win Vista computer.

Go to printers
Right click on the printer
Select properties
Go to ports tab
There will be many lines of ports so be sure you are on the correct line for your printer
uncheck the box "Enable bidirectional printing"
