UFT 11.51 Issues

Hi,

 

Following are the two issues that I am facing in UFT 11.51

 

1) Not able to open the the result from the Test Lab, getting error stating "An Unexpected error has occured. It is recommended to restart the Run Result Viewer" -----I have already run the patch of UFTRRV_00022.exe

 

2) Under Automation Tab of Business Component module of UFT, the business component not displayed, message is displayed stating stating Quality Center cannot display the component steps becuase the relevant Quick Test add-ins is not installed.  ---- I have already installed the Business component but still facing the same issue.

 

Please advice...

For issue #2: do you have ALM Plugin and UFTALM_00022.exe installed?

For problem 1

 

Just curious whether you have installed any custom addins for UFT in this location : C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Unified Functional Testing\addins\CustomerAddins ? 

 

Some addins added to that directory may not be compatible with UFT and if they are related to custom result reporting, then its certain that HP result viewer is affected by it. 

 

Solution would be to format the system, reinstall with the custom addin and check whether its working.

Please install the new 11.52 Service pack which is a cumulative pack containing updates for all patches/SPs released earlier.

 

Do let us know if it solves the issue.

I have installed the UFt Service Pack (UFT_00022.Exe)

This Patch is supersedes below patches:

UFT_00037

UFT_00001

 

But still facing the same issue.
