QTP not recognising SAPList object

[ Edited ]

I am trying to automate a webdynpro application where I am trying to select a value from a dropdown list. OR recognises this as an SAPList object. But when I playback the script it fails to recognise the object. I tried giving the micclass also but it will not recognise it. The code so far-

Browser("SAP NetWeaver Portal").Page("SAP NetWeaver Portal").Frame("iframe_Roundtrip_133661597").SAPList("Did the accident occur").Click

Any input would be appreciated.

Re: QTP not recognising SAPList object

What is the exact error message displayed? Does it talk about the SAPList or its parent object?

I suggest to compare the properties in the Object Repository for that specific object against the properties of the object when it failed... You might find differences, hence the root cause.

Re: QTP not recognising SAPList object

I had the same problem sometime ago. There is a problem with this kind of object. At the end I wrote a shell script to select the item on the list.

Hope this helps!
