Are you trying to install the license key on a different system? If so, that is not possible. Concurrent license keys are specific to the system for which they were purchased, based on a unique locking code generated on that system.

With due respect, are you sure? I guess what you mentioned is applicable for a Seat license and not Concurrent license.

@AnuragQA: I don't think that should be a problem. Since your company is on a concurrent license, it will be as simple as pointing your machine to the license server.

@AnkurJain,

Yes I am sure. To obtain a Concurrent License key you must supply the locking code for the system where the Sentinel License Manager software will be installed. The Locking Code generation is the same regardless of the license type. And Locking Codes are unique to the system which generated it.

I have confirmed this in my own environment where we use Concurrent License keys exclusively.

Make note that my comment specifically is about moving the Key to a new License Server. I am not talking about changing which license server a client system references.

@Trudy: Thanks for the clarification. I thought it from the client machines point-of-view while I guess you are talking about the license server itself.

@OP: If you have to move servers, check with your company's/client's HP rep.
