Re: Issue with play back in QTP 11.0 for IE 9 with mouse movement with respect to web applaction

Hello,

In order to be able to work successfuly on Windows 7 64 bit there are few prerequisites that you need to cover :

1)The UAC should be disabled before the installation of QTP and after that

2)Ensure that the antivirus program is disabled for the installation process only.

3)Check that you are aware for requisites before and after installing QTP-http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM1395630

4)Confirm that you cover the minimum permissions required for QuickTest Professional - http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM183747

If the above mention points are cover then you could install the required patches in this order:

1)QTP_00709 - Updates for HP QTP 11.00: http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM1054571

2)QTP_00699 - Support Testing on 64Bit Applications : http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM1012381

3)Add Support for IE in Protected Mode:http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM1134266

4)Add Support for Internet Explorer 9: http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM1166929

5) QTPWEB_00086 - Support for 64-bit IE Browsers : http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM1241837 - the last one only if you have IE in 64 bit mode.

In addition could you please specify the version of the .NET Framework.

Thank you and Regards,

Evelina

Re: Issue with play back in QTP 11.0 for IE 9 with mouse movement with respect to web application

The problem occurs only with Links inside the table?

You can use childitem to access the webelements and then perform the click

Browser(<BROWSER NAME>).Page(<PAGE NAME>).WebTable(<WEBTABLE NAME>).ChildItem(<ROW>, <COL>, "WebElement", 0).click

Example:
Browser("Net key manager 6.0").Page("Net key manager 6.0").WebTable("WebTable").ChildItem("1","1", "WebElement", 0).click

You need to modify row and column parameters according to your table cells
