Extensibility Accelerator for QTP

Hi,

I'm just looking for some help with the HP Extensibility Accelerator tool. I have created a new object type using HP Extensibility Accelerator and deployed it to QTP. When I start QTP and goto the addin manager I can't see the option of adding the new object in the Web addin. Does anyone know why this might happen?

Regards,
James

Re: Extensibility Accelerator for QTP

In order to see your extensibility in QTP a directory with your extensibility need to be copied to the QTP install dir\dat\Extensibility\Web. The extensibility accelerator should do it for you automatically.

As a first step I would check if this directory was created.

If not, can you please send me your extensibility project, so I can examine it?

Re: Extensibility Accelerator for QTP

Hi Roy,

Thanks for your reply.

In the dat\Extensibility\Web folder I have the following:

OneOffResultsTestObjects.xml

TestObjectsExtensions.txt

Also in the dat\Extensibility\Web\Toolkits folder I have a OneOffResults folder.

Attached is my zipped up dat\Extensibility\Web folder.  The object hasn't been finalized yet, I was trying to get it recognized first before proceeding further.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

James

Hi Roy,

Is there any chance you've had time to look into this?
