64 bit Java application does not open after installing QTP 11 with Java addin

Hi, I have installed QTP11 with Java addin on Windows 7 , after which 64 bit Java application does not start. There seems to be some Java conflict.

Java 6 update 26 is installed with QTP11, however the application requires Java 6 update 35.

Is there any patch for the same ? Can anyone help with this issue?

Re: 64 bit Java application does not open after installing QTP 11 with Java addin

Hello,

Part of the feedback is a litle vague to give a real assestment or proper help, however check the following:

  1. What is the exact error obtained (with capitals, spaces, everything)? When exactly do you see the error?

  2. Do other Java applications show same issue?(Java control panel dialog is a Java application sample, so you can try with that)

  3. Considering is a 64bits environment, ensure having installed the QTP_00709 and QTP_00699, then try again.

Would indeed be grateful, if I could get a solution for this problem as it has been troubling us a lot.

Thanks,

Re: 64 bit Java application does not open after installing QTP 11 with Java addin

Hi Provaas,

In case you are still facing this issue with Java applications not loading after installing QTP 11, it is recommended to open a new support ticket with HP Software Support for troubleshooting, as the main cause for this type of issues will vary depending on your environment and the Java application with the issue. Please visit the SW Support Online website to create your support ticket: http://support.openview.hp.com/casemanager/newincident
