Re: I need some analytics

The 'p' is a standard HP branding for its new/latest generation disk arrays.

p6xxx = eva
p9xxx = xp (hds)
p4xxx = lefthand

The latest xp as you know it is the p9500 for example..

Re: I need some analytics

The EVA family is renamed to P6000, newest members are P6300 and P6500.

You can compare them by reading the quickspecs.

The XP family is renamed to P9000, newest member is the P9500 (-> quickspecs).

Your course is about the previous XP models XP2x000 and XP1x000 (most applies to the P9500 too).

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Not only mainframe. My customers are using it with blades and superdome.
