Second drive of MSL4048 lost from device manager

When use backup (symantec backup exec 2012) the second drive delete from windows device manager.
And get event: System Error HP Fibre Channel "A fibre channel HBA port has changed to a state of link down."

After reboot library, this drive show up in device manager and all work.
Try to swap FC cable from drive 1 to drive2, don't help. Anyway second drive lose.

Create case in Symantec - they say, if drive lose from device - that isn't symantec problem.

Re: Second drive of MSL4048 lost from device manager

Hi,

After swapping FC Cable from Drive 1 to Drive 2, still you are facing problem with the same drive1 or new one drive 2. If you are facing problem with same drive 1 means problem with Drive SFB connector in Drive. If you are facing problem with new drive 2 means probelm with FC Cable.

Hi,

If still you are facing problem with the drive means, you have to change that drive.
