Hi, yes you can directly upgrade to the 11.1x agent I believe (or at least as a 2-step thing - upgrade to the 11.0x agents and then to 11.1x).
InfraSPI package is always only something you install as a choice - you are not 'forced' to use InfraSPI although the default policies available with InfraSPI can help you get started quicker.

Thank you very much for your reply.
But I want to upgrade the agent 8.60 to 11.11 with out Infraspi.
In the document of Infraspi 11.11, I got the below mentioned topic for with out installation Infraspi:
1. Make sure that you downloaded the .ISO file for all
platforms or obtained the physical DVD.
2. Log on to the management server as administrator.
3. Create a new file with a text editor.
4. Add the following content:
5. Save the file.
6. Go to the media root.
7. From the media root, run the following command:
cscript oainstall.vbs -i -m -spiconfig
In this instance,
<file_name> is the name of the file
that you created in
step 3 (with complete path).
The command registers the agent deployment
packages for all platforms on the management
server, but skips the installation of the
I am not able to understand that where I can put the saved text file.
Could you help me ???
Thanks & Regards

in any case, if you call just oainstall with the -i and -m options only he agent will be installed. default option is to NOT install infraspi.

Yes, it is not working. I have stored the text file into the agent folder (Software_HP_Operations_Agent_v11.13_-_ALL_Platfor
And the other side I have upgrade the agent with the "cscript oainstall.vbs -i -m" options ,but after installation it is showing Infraspi.

I hope you are clear with the usage of spiconfig file and where to place. Basically while using the option you have to give the entire path of the file.
Now coming to installation:
With the consolidated iso, if you use the below option
cscript oainstall.vbs -i -m
It would take the default_config in which has the below options:
Which would end up installing InfraSPI along with Graphs and Reports. So in case you dont want any of the InfraSPI components to be installed, then either you can have your customized config file with the below setting:
Or use the individual bits of Agent corresponding to platform/OS. Hope this helps.

Please consider also that the command
cscript oainstall.vbs -i -m
just registers the agent packages on the OM Management Server.
If you want to install the agent running locally on the OM Management Server you will have to use this command instead:
cscript oainstall.vbs -i -a
Pay attention to this difference: registration vs installation.
I hope this helps.
