Re: Unable to install agent OA 11.25 on a node

Hello hellboy_1,

The script opc_inst.vbs was used for agent 8.60 installation. For Operations agent version 11.11 you should use oainstall.vbs:

> cscript.exe oainstall.vbs -i -a -srv <management_server_hostname> -cert_srv <management_server_hostname>

Best regards,

Beatriz

Re: Unable to install agent OA 11.25 on a node

Pl confirm it is 11.10.025 you are referring here and not 11.25 as you've mentioned in the subject. No such version has been released so far.

Re: Unable to install agent OA 11.25 on a node

Its almost similar path , %ovsharedir%\Packages\HTTPS\windows\ms\5.1 5.2 6.0 6.1 6.2\x64\Operations-agent\11.11.025\64\https , if you have registered the 11.11 agent version ..

Walk thought the same path , you will definitely get to know , I dont why you are finding it difficult to identify the agent path which is registered  ..  look in each and every folder ( check the folder modified date , hopefully the recently registered agent version would have the recent date ) , you can open any of the xml file where it would be mentioned the agent version ..

Hope this helps you..

Re: Unable to install agent OA 11.25 on a node

Hi Debashish,

If you have trouble finding the path to different agent version you can download the Support Matrix from:

http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM323488

and choose the Operations Agent option, by selecting the platform the Matrix will give you the path information on the Version Directory Column.

Hope this helps.
