Query on Oracle DBSPI

Hi Folks,

We have a oracle dbspi running every 15 mins. which monitors the oracle database. Now there is a message popping on the message browser stating :

Can't start monitor script for object 'DBSPI-Ora-15min-Favorites'. Script still running. (OpC30-610)

where in the following spi is configured
dbspicao -c DBSPI-Ora-15min-Favorites -m 203,16,17:80,18:95,58,62,64-65,77-80

This process hangs and consumes whole of the CPU process. Invariable i terminate using kill -9. What could be the problem here. If any changes in oracle db password has any effect

Suggestion welcomed.

Re: Query on Oracle DBSPI

I experiment the same behavior...
All was fine until yesterday...
We use DBSPI in a very loaded Database.
I search which metric is "frozed", so I separated all ( I create a new monitor for metric 203, 16, 17 and so on...)
The metric 203 frozed when is launched by my own monitor:
dbspicao -c DBPSI-Ora-15min_Favorites1 -m 203 -t db1-
(the db1- sufix is a customization of DBSPI).

I don??t know why this metric cause it ????
