OMW 9.0 Installation failed--HP Operations Manager Server and Console core components

Hi, 

 

I am trying to install HP OMW9.0 in Windows server 2008 R2 and my database server is MSSQL Server 2012. My database server is in another remote mechine.

 

 

All the pre -requsites are checked but after some step the installation is failed and give some error--

I have tried this installation again with local database instance and now the installation is done....but this is not the sollution...I didn't understand that why my installation is not complete when i'm using a remote database.

Hello

 

Was the installation of OMW kicked off using the OMW installation patch OMW_00148 (http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/FID/DOCUMENTUM_OMW_00148? If not then try the patch and see if it helps.  You can see this documented in Support Matrix SUMA (http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM323488).

 

Also make sure that the user who is installing OMW has full acccess rights on the remote database for it is required to successfully create the database.
