Re: How i can monitor server temperature by using OMW?

Enable SNMP on that node and
a) configure it to send traps on certain temperatures or
b) poll certain oid-s (monitor template, instead of "program" put "MIB object" )
c) write any other program, which can "automagically" get info from node and send an opcmsg/opcmon to you.

Hi,

if you have sun blade server, you can use the sun ILOM/ELOM integration package from the sun website, for HP hardware you can use HP SIM, IBM HW there is a integratin package.

This is the best way to integrate with which cover all the area.

With Dell servers you can script a monitor using the OpenManage utility:

omreport chassis temps

or if there is more than one probe:

omreport chassis temps index=n
