Re: EXtremely UEGENT- DBSPI policy deploy error--PLZ HELP

Hello,

This is a error that occurs typically when one of the files that are part of the distribution is in use on the managed node, see also:

http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/FID/DOCUMENTUM_QCCR1A112590

You can either upgrade to the 11.04 Operations Agent which will have this fix included, or otherwise make sure the file is not in use while distribution is taking place. For the dbspiregedit.exe file this can be done by temporarily stopping DBSPI monitoring through the following command:

# dbspicol OFF

After the distribution it can be enabled again:

# dbspicol ON

Uli

Re: EXtremely UEGENT- DBSPI policy deploy error--PLZ HELP

Thanks UliD,

This error is removed , but post instrumentation and deployment of DBSPI , I am getting the below error  and no messaged related to DBSPI in Active browser

"MSSSPI: Scheduled metric collection has failed for task "dbspicam -m 11,13-14,25,57,58,227,30,35,81,84,277" and user "$AGENT_USER". [Policy: DBSPI-MSS-05min]"

Thanks

Re: EXtremely UEGENT- DBSPI policy deploy error--PLZ HELP

Hello,

What is the following output on your managed node:

# "%ovagentdir%\bin\instrumentation\dbspiadm -verify -nw"

# "%ovagentdir%\bin\instrumentation\dbspicfg -e"

# set PATH=%PATH%;%OvAgentDir%\bin\instrumentation

# dbspicam -vpm 11,13-14,25,57,58,227,30,35,81,84,277

# ovdeploy -cmd "dbspicam - vpm 11,13-14,25,57,58,227,30,35,81,84,277" -host localhost

Thank you,

Uli
