Re: Add annotation in message

Did you grep for your command in them?

Re: Add annotation in message

Sorry could not get you.
If there are files then grep will show the same results.

Thanks

Re: Add annotation in message

Hello.

What do these commands show:

cd /etc/opt/OV/share/conf/OpC/mgmt_sv/templates/utf8/ux_compress

grep UNIX95 *

for a in *.Z; do uncompress -c "$a" | grep UNIX && echo $a; done

Re: Add annotation in message

Yes, the second command will check the compressed files - does it show any filenames?

Re: Add annotation in message

Hello,

It is really strange that the policy isn't distributed although other policies are.

I would try this and see if that helps:

- Run opcdbidx as follows:

# opcdbidx -config -flags

- Try and distribute again

- After you get the successfully distributed message, check if UNIX95 is now in one of the policy files:

# grep UNIX95 /var/opt/OV/datafiles/policies/*/*_data

Best regards,

Tobias

Hi ,

Wil this command distribute policy on all pending node or restart fro all police for all node.
I am cautious becoz this is production.

Re: Add annotation in message

Hello.

It doesn't distribute things - it makes changes in the database. So you still need to distribute it manually after the command is ran.
