We are currently trying to DR one of out MPE 6.5 systems which runs on a HP E3000 939LX.
We have the SLT load tape and are attempting to boot a HP3000 / N4000 machine with this tape.
Following a "BO P0" We saw some tape activity for approx 30 seconds before seeing the....
"HARD Booted." message, but the machine then seems to sit there for 20 mins or so and do nothing.
Can anyone confirm if an SLT created on a 6.5 server HP E3000/939LX should work on a HP3000/N4000 please ???
Here's hoping !

Also at page 94 and page 95 in the same document you will see the detailed support matrix:
N4000-100-220, N4000-100-330, N4000-100-440
N4000-200-440*, N4000-300-440*, N4000-400-440*,
MPEiX 7.0 supports the A&N class. MPE/iX 6.5 does not.

You can boot from a CSLT generate in other system. The question is that you need to start with the specific group of new hardware to configure H/W paths.
