ALLOWING "ABORTJOB" COMMAND PRIVILEGES TO USERS. HP3000

Just wondering if there's a way to allow users the capability to abort their OWN jobs on a HP3000 mainframe. I have tinkered with the 'ALLOW command but its not secure. I would like to set it up where users can only abort their own jobs and not any job running on their system.

JOBSECURITY low/high
allow @.account;commands=abortjob

Mobregon,
It would be better if you asked your question in the MPE Forum, since it is dealing with software. This forum is for hardware related questions.

at denkor's web site they have many diferent examples of job/session scripts:

However, I agree that a global allow of abortjob can be an issue. Many sites have either the god program from vesoft or the allowme program from allegro.com
These programs are used in a script to give the user temporary capabilities in the script to to the specific abortjob. This can also be used to facilitate other command situations like reply ...
