hpvmdevmgmt -V difference in outputs

On one of my system I have :

hpvmdevmgmt -V -l all
/dev/rdisk/disk19:CONFIG=rdev,EXIST=YES,DEVTYPE=DISK,SHARE=NO,AUTORDEV=YES::HP 36.4G/ST336753LC /3HX1Z26E000074291W7L/0x01.0x00.0x02.0x000c50fffe9ffc47
localnet:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,DEVTYPE=SWITCH,SHARE=YES::WWID_NULL
lan1:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,DEVTYPE=NIC,SHARE=NO:vswA:WWID_NULL
vswA:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,DEVTYPE=SWITCH,SHARE=YES:rx86-vm1,rx86-vm2:WWID_NULL
lan0:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,DEVTYPE=NIC,SHARE=NO:vswB:WWID_NULL
vswB:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,DEVTYPE=SWITCH,SHARE=YES:rx86-vm1,rx86-vm2:WWID_NULL
/dev/rdisk/disk22:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,DEVTYPE=DISK,SHARE=NO:rx86-vm1:0x01.0x00.0x03.0x600508b40010286b0001100013770000
/dev/rdisk/disk23:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,DEVTYPE=DISK,SHARE=NO:rx86-vm2:0x01.0x00.0x03.0x600508b40010286b00011000137c0000
/dev/rdsk/c2t6d0,/dev/rdisk/disk21:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,DEVTYPE=DISK,SHARE=NO:vmtest1:HP 36.4G/ST336753LC /3HX1Z1RS000074280FM6/0x01.0x00.0x02.0x000c50fffe9fffb3
lan2:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,DEVTYPE=NIC,SHARE=NO:switch2:WWID_NULL
switch2:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,DEVTYPE=SWITCH,SHARE=YES:vmtest1:WWID_NULL

and on the other

I have

/dev/rdisk/disk231:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,SHARE=YES,DEVTYPE=DISK:test1:HPVM_WWID_DEV_15_39
/dev/rdisk/disk232:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,SHARE=YES,DEVTYPE=DISK:test1:HPVM_WWID_DEV_15_60
/dev/rdisk/disk233:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,SHARE=YES,DEVTYPE=DISK:test1:HPVM_WWID_DEV_15_61
/dev/rdisk/disk236:CONFIG=gdev,EXIST=YES,SHARE=YES,DEVTYPE=DISK:test1:HPVM_WWID_DEV_15_62

WWID is shown on the first one, where as it is like HPVM_WWID_DEV on the second one... why is it so??

How can I make the second one to show WWID's instead of HPVM_WWID_DEV

Re: hpvmdevmgmt -V difference in outputs

I'm not so good with IVM, but I suspect that in the second case there isn't 'link' in the virtual FC HBAs. Please check it with fcmsutil, and post the output. It should also show you the WWNs.

# fcmsutil ${device_file_of_fc_hba}

Are the disks accessible? Maybe something's wrong with the zoning.
