# swlist -s /full/path_to_file.depot
# swinstall -s /full/path_to_file.depot

If you have *.depot file for the product, you could install the product by,
swpackage is used to package the depot.

command is swinstall -s then u full path
if u downloaded a file in u /usr/local directory.
the down loaded file name is gdb...with an extension gz or with some other extension
first u have to remove that extension
for removing gz extension u can use
then u will get depot
the command swinstall -s /usr/local/gdb.depot
(this for an expample to do downloaded packages and installation )

# swcopy -s /myDepot.depot \* @ /myNetDepot
On other systems you could then install using the command:
# swinstall -s sys1:/myNetDepot \*
Of course replace myDepot.depot and sys1 as needed...
