Welcome to the Service Virtualization !

Welcome to the HP Service Virtualization Blog…

We at HP Software are all about helping you build and test better applications, reduce cycle time for build and test, and keep your costs down by facilitating communication and transparency between all the parties involved in building the modern application.  Many of our customers are building their new applications leveraging architecture and methodology breakthroughs such as SOA, Agile, and Cloud.  This approach multiplies moving parts and creates a challenge for the involved parties that must execute what amounts to a symphony of the right code, tested for optimal performance and functionality, delivered in shrinking time frames while delivering on business’s mandates.

So how does HP Software help?  We’ve innovated with a new product designed to help your organization raise the quality of your apps in less time.  Want to learn more?

I’m so glad you asked.  That is what we are here to discuss.  Every IT organization is different, heck, every cloud is different.  So, with all these differences what are some basic underlying assumptions we made that went into the reason for creating HP Service Virtualization.

  • Developers need to access services and components to build their (modern, SOA, Cloud) applications.
  • Functional testers would find defects and code issues a lot sooner if they could test while dev was still in process.
  • Performance engineers would love to test against production services with multiple scenarios but rarely have that capability.

Will virtualizing services that look and behave just like the real thing help fulfill this wish list?  We think so.

If your application efforts resemble this, we’d like to know….and know what service access issues you face?  What are your true limitations and what problems do you need solved? Speak up! Join us!

We’d love to step into your world and hear about your own personal development and testing reality show…
