Port for Java client

Hello,

What ports need to be open on the firewall to start the HP-SA Java client ? The web portal is OK as 80/443 is open but the Java client gives me a 504 timeout ?

Thanks

Re: Port for Java client

The Java client needs to be able to hit ports 80, 443 and 8080.

Re: Port for Java client

Can these ports be bidirectional or unidirectional?

Re: Port for Java client

The listeners for TCP ports 80, 443, and 8080 are on the core. So the firewall rule would need to allow FROM the Java client TO the core with those DESTINATION ports. The source ports will be ephemeral, so the firewall rules should allow for that, ie, hardcoding the source ports to be the same as the destination ports would be too restrictive.
