How to uninstall/unregister .EXE package

HI,

I just created a package for vSphere CLI for our servers. The install works fine.

However for uninstall I get the following error:

I have tried all sorts of parameters in the Uninstall parameter field.

The correct call is:

start /wait MsiExec.exe /X {E60422F6-23F5-446A-B26D-70FF3092BF84} /qn

However I keep getting this error.

Error Messages:
Software uninstall failed with an exit code of 1.
Exception:
Cause: com.opsware.common.LegacyException Exception Message: ID: HPSA-1285 Code: cogbot.packageError Details: Error Code: cogbot.packageError $OpswareError= cogbot.packageError command= package= C:\Program Files\Common Files\Opsware\agent\remediate_pkgs0\VMware-vSphere-CLI-5.1.0-780721.exe results= An uninstall command must be provided for Executable package types Legacy Error Code: cogbot.packageError Line number : -1

Re: How to uninstall/unregister .EXE package

Figured it out.
If you change uninstall parameters after an exe package is already installed you need to install again.

Otherwise it will only pick up the parameter that was configured during install time.
