errors on start up

I get the following error when clicking on status in the HP Solution Center - "The procedure entry point ?SetToolTipText@CBitmapPaletteButton@@QAEXVCString@@H@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library hpqmfc09.dll"

I get the same problem when starting the computer. Also the HP Digital Imaging Monitor has to be shut down due to problems. I am very interested in knowing what I could do to solve the problem.

I get the same problem when starting the HP Laptop HP6910p and HP8730w. I installed the printer HP5590 and the scanner HP6980 than after reboot this error is poping up.
Could it be that the printer and scanner SW full install are having a conflict?
Any suggetion?

Found the answer.

Go to C:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin
and simply rename the file hpqmfc09.dll to hpqmfc09.dll_bad.

Printer continues to work in all its functions but no startup error. Seems this is a corrupted unused dll.
