Older scanner

Thought I was soooo smart.  Built my own computer, installed Windows 7 and started to move files, apps, programs and hardware over to new PC.  Hooked up my Scanjet 4670 today and tried to load the driver - got bupkus!  I checked on HP's site only to discover that Win7 isn't listed as OS that is supported by this scanner.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

Re: Older scanner

Buy a new one?       Or try Google for it, if you get lucky you'll find somebody that had the same problem.

Re: Older scanner

I was just curious if you ever found a solution to your scanner driver/windows 7 problem. I have an older hp flatbed scanner 3970 and windows 7, also. HP does not list support for windows 7 64 bit or any other windows 7 for this scanner.

Thanks for any info that you might have come up with .
