Quality Center: Invalid Server Response

Hi All,
When we try to login to QC, getting error "Invalid Server Response".

Could you please let me know root-cause and this was stopping our work.

Veeraiah,

Most of the time it is the issue with DB. Check your log file, You will see the error message related to.

Check your appserver if there is any outage on it.

Thank you for your response.

1. In DB lof file was getting message as user TD connection failed.

2. In Jboss server log gile getting as "
The database is already in use by another processâ and â The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the fileâ .

Could you please let me know any root-cause to resolve this issue.

Hi,

Seems there is an object lock happened with the DB,you can navigate to that DB schema mentioned in your jboss log file.Open the locks table and try to clear off all the locks.You can use a delete command to clear the locks.

Same way you can check if there are any locks in qcsiteadmin_db schema.

Restart the app servers JVM's which can get rid of most kind of object lock issues.

Check if that works for you.
